Participant feedback

I’ve gained a lot of knowledge from the incubator. There have also been a good number of meetings with mentors. If only it were possible (not just in theory, but in practice) to actually gain more time through the incubator, we could transfer that ideal theory into practice.

Andres Mürk

Hiigelmullid, Bubblos

I have had the opportunity to participate in many interesting and useful trainings, and have received exciting information about developments in the field that I would not have reached on my own.

Johanna Paiste

Ärni Blum

I joined the growth program to think through Älly’s growth strategy and plan for moving into foreign markets with professionals in my field.

The trainings and mentor meetings provided very good tools to analyze the current state of my own company and set an action plan for the future. The mentor meetings were especially useful, as they helped me solve very specific challenges and in many ways also confirmed my thoughts and directions of action that I was still on the right track.

Eight international experts from Finland, Germany, Estonia and North America helped them develop their products and brands and prepare to enter new markets. How do you reach a Finnish buyer? Is it better to sell directly in the US or through a partner? How do you present your artistic practice so that it catches the eye of an international curator? These were the kinds of questions participants…

Tallinn Business Incubator Kicks Off Its New Business Season

On 29 September, a new business season began at the Tallinn Business Incubator. The day was opened by Eve Peeterson, Head of the Tallinn Business Incubator, who fired the starting shot for the new business season and spoke about where the incubator community is heading together. The first practical insight came from Aleksander Gansen, who talked about how good…

Andres Lehtmets: I help innovators understand regulation and regulators understand innovation

At the start of the summer, Andres Lehtmets completed the Business Incubator’s 9-month incubation programme. His eponymous consultancy operates at the intersection of financial innovation and regulation. He advises fintech companies, financial institutions and regulators on regulatory strategy, policymaking and supervisory innovation. But what exactly does a company like this do, and how did Lehtmets arrive at this business model? What does your company do? I run a consultancy that specialises in the intersection of financial innovation and regulation. Put simply, I help innovators understand regulation and regulators understand innovation. I work globally with financial sector regulators and supervisory authorities…

“From vibe coder to entrepreneur” showed how quickly an idea can become a prototype

In September, activities began for the international project Pilot Pips, led by the Tallinn Business Incubator, which aims to support the development of entrepreneurial capacity among young people under 25 in Estonia, Latvia, and Sweden. As the project’s first public event, the “From vibe coder to entrepreneur” inspiration day took place, open to everyone interested in vibe coding and the possibilities of AI. The event offered a practical introduction to topics that will be explored in greater depth in the program starting in November. At the heart of the day was the question of how to move quickly forward with…
